MP's have postponed a discussion on Health Minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang's fitness to hold office until tomorrow.

The DA's chief whip Ian Davidson wants Parliament to set up a special committee to investigate whether Tshabalala-Msimang is fit to hold office because of a theft conviction at Athlone hospital in Botswana in 1976.

Davidson said in a statement on Monday that at the request of the ANC, the matter would be postponed. - Waghied Misbach
