Hendrick Ramaala, top South African runner, is heading for England today to compete in a major yearly road running event this weekend.
Ramaala will defend the Great North Run Half-Marathon in Newcastle on Sunday where more than 20 000 people are expected to take part.
"The Great North Run Half-Marathon is one of my favourite road running events and I'm looking forward to competing," said Ramaala yesterday.
