Orlando Pirates boss Irvin Khoza confirmed from Holland last night that Jabu Mahlangu was no longer their player.
"Jabu is now a free a agent. he is free to join a club of his choice. but we are still busy with his agent ironing out some few issues," said Khoza.
Mahlangu, whose No. 11 jersey was passed on to Teko Modise, formerly of SuperSport United, this season, fell out of favour with the current coach, Bibey Mutombo, towards the end of last season because of his poor form.
The player would also be quoted lambasting Mutombo, something that is believed to have not gone down well with the club hierarchy. - Sowetan
