Two young South African fashion designers, Athi-Patra Ruga and Thula Sindi, will showcase their designs at "Africa is in Fashion" in Niamey, the capital of Niger.
The two are part of a select 10 who have been short-listed to participate in the west African fashion show.
Ruga and Sindi will compete for the top three prizes which include a residency in a Paris couture house.
