Health Minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang said at the weekend she did not know who her new deputy would be.

"I wish I was the president of the country. I would answer that question, but I'm not," said Tshabalala-Msimang.

She was speaking during a tour of Durban's Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital. The hospital was in the news in 2005 after 22 babies died during a klebsiella outbreak at the institution. - Sapa
