The Limpopo Department of Local Government and Housing said it was working hard to transform the housing industry in the province.
This was in order to position itself to be able to accelerate service delivery in line with the provincial growth and development strategy.
The department was outlining its five-year plan to ensure the delivery of better services to the people of the province.
Departmental head Leshabe Rampedi said yesterday they were implementing various programmes in order to build the capacity for municipalities to deal with financial viability, infrastructure development, better spatial planning and land use.
"We are reviewing the organograms of all municipalities to ensure that institutional structures are relevant for accelerated service delivery," Rampedi said.
