A 26-year-old Limpopo woman will appear in the Ritavi magistrates' court today after she allegedly killed her newborn baby and buried her in a shallow grave.
The incident, which shocked residents, happened this week. The woman was arrested after villagers tipped off police.
"Our investigations revealed that the suspect had given birth and secretly buried the baby in a shallow grave," said Mopani police spokesman Superintendent Moatshe Ngoepe.
