The music of the 1980s, bubblegum music, will reverberate through the Polokwane Showgrounds on March 31.
But when the dust settles and people have gone home after an afternoon of great music, a young woman suffering from Blount's Disease will benefit from the proceeds of the festival.
The proceeds will go to charity as well as raise money for 19-year-old Ivy Mahlatjie, left.
She suffers from Blount's Disease which affects the bone development of toddlers and older children.
Seeking the appropriate treatment in time can help correct the condition.
Mahlatjie underwent her first operation in January and needs two more operations.
Expected to attract both the old - who will be taken on a sentimental journey back to the 1980s - and a young crowd, who will find out what it was like back then, the festival promises fireworks of its own.
Many music fans will remember the firebrand of Mercy Pakela, the indomitable Condry Ziqubu, disco king Ali Katt, Phumi Maduna, Spokes H, Kamazu, Om Alec Khaoli, Zizi Kongo, Dan Nkosi, Senyaka, Richie S, CJB and Patricia Majalisa, who will entertain at the festival.
Stimela, Sipho Hotstix Mabuse and Harare will make special appearances to add their special spice to what promises to be a fun-filled afternoon suitable as an outing for the whole family.
