The North West government has criticised SABC radio for carrying news about protests it claimed took place in Khutsong township in Merafong after a visit by Premier Edna Molewa last Friday.
Cornelius Monama, spokesman for the provincial government, said the allegations about the protest were not true.
Though protests had been anticipated, they did not take place.
