An allegedly drunken man was arrested by the police in Port Shepstone when he was found with his pants down lying on top of a dead 50-year-old man, KwaZulu-Natal police said yesterday.
Superintendent Zandra Hechter said the police received a call at 6am on Saturday about suspicious behaviour on Port Shepstone's Ryder Street.
When they arrived at the scene they thought they were dealing with a double murder. But when paramedics were called they discovered that the top "body" was alive and that of a drunk.
The man was arrested and is expected to appear in court soon on a charge of indecent assault. - Sapa
