I'm not surprised about Tony Yengeni's early release.

I'm not surprised about Tony Yengeni's early release.

Taxpayers' money spent by Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka on her so-called state trips, Gauteng MEC Paul Mashatile's dinner extravaganza and MPs and their spouses rolling in money because of daily government tenders are just a few examples of how the well-connected live.

This shows that the people in top positions in the government, especially those who are linked to the ANC, are privileged to do as they wish.

It is almost as if ordinary people of this country owe them something.

Politicians and officials no longer listen to the people, who are called "whingers" when they complain.

They act as if they are above the law and are not reprimanded. Instead, there are cover-ups.

As an observant young person, I've learnt to stop moaning and not to make the same mistake again of voting for the wrong people in the next election.

In future I'll vote for people who believe in communalism and I will educate other young people of this beautiful country of ours to do the same.
