BAGHDAD - Four people were killed and one was wounded when US airplanes bombed houses in west Baghdad yesterday, police said.

The attack reportedly hit homes near the offices of Saleh al-Mutlaq, a senior member of the National Dialogue Front, and the home of Salama al-Khafaji, a former Shiite parliamentarian.

Police said the wounded man was a guard at the house of an unidentified former Shiite member of parliament. - Sapa-AP
