Trade conditions improved slightly last month, but expectations for the next six months are moderate, the South African Chamber of Business (Sacob) said on Friday.

Sacob's trade activity index, which measures the view of business on current trade activity, rose to 58 last month, from September's 54.

But the Trade Expectations Index, which gauges business expectations for trade conditions six months ahead, declined to 62 last month, from 65 in September. - Sapa
