When Tryphinah Dowelani fell ill last year the only solution to her problem was to become a traditional healer.

This weekend Dowelani, right, who is also a professional secretary, celebrated completing her training.

Dowelani, 23, said she could not get help from doctors after her shoulder and left hand stopped functioning.

But the only time she was helped was when she heeded her ancestors' call to become a traditional healer.

Now Dowelani has qualified after a six-month training course and says that she is now at peace with herself.
