Kwesta has apologised to his fans for having to cancel his upcoming performance at Major League Gardens in order to honour an invitation to perform in America.
Thousands of fans are expected to descend on FNB Stadium this Saturday for the All White Major League Gardens concert‚ headlined by some of the biggest names in the music industry.
Kwesta was named as one of the headliners for the show but had to cancel his appearance this week‚ after being booked for a series of performances at the South by Southwest music festival in America.
He took to Twitter on Wednesday to apologise to his fans for cancelling his performance.
Kwesta will perform at two events as part of the South by Southwest festival on March 17 and March 18.
He told TshisaLIVE that he was both excited and honoured to represent South Africa abroad.
“I am honoured to be recognised for my music enough to be a part of such an amazing and prestigious festival. Everyone knows about the South by Southwest festival and so to perform at it is massive‚” he said.
