Fireworks and family time - Here's a peek into KB's festive season

Singer and actress KB Motsilanyane is hoping for peace and healing this Christmas. We caught up with the star ahead of the busy festive season to find out what she will be up to.

What will you be doing for Christmas?

I’m going home to the village to spend time with my parents. I hardly see them so I’m excited to spend time with them and my son.

Do you have any special family traditions?

Well‚ besides the usual eating and exchanging gifts‚ we set off fireworks to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. I guess that’s kind of our tradition.

Will you be doing anything else this festive season?

I’m looking forward to performing as much as possible. I miss being on stage and interacting with fans.

What are you hoping to find under the Christmas tree this year?

It’s going to sound corny (and it might not fit under the Christmas tree) but I wish for peace and healing. There is so much anger and hate in the country at the moment. I just wish we could heal and have peace.
