Jamie Bartlett aka David Genaro unveiled as new judge of SA's Got Talent

Veteran actor Jamie Bartlett has joined the SA’s Got Talent judging panel ahead of the upcoming season

The news was revealed by e.tv through a press statement on Monday morning.

Jamie is set to join DJ Fresh and radio veteran Shado Twala on the judging panel when the show returns to TV screens in September.

Best known for his role as David Genaro on Rhythm City — Jamie is naturally ecstatic about being a part of the team.

“SA’s Got Talent is a true celebration of top‚ local talent across the spectrum. I’m very excited at the prospect of being able to serve the talent and the show in my role as a judge. Viewers tuning into SA’s Got Talent will see the real me – not playing a character‚ but daring the talent to move me‚” he said.

According to e.tv’s bigwigs Jamie’s extensive experience in the entertainment industry will no doubt stand him in good stead to nurture young talent.

SA’s Got Talent premieres on September 4 at on e.tv and DStv (Channel194).
