Fans of MiCasa will be pleased to know that the much anticipated release of their second album SuCasa hit the shelves on Friday, 16 August 2013.

With all eyes on the dynamic super group, the boys from Mi Casa have taken it to the next level.

Su Casa, the follow up full-length release treats fans to 15 tracks of retro soul and house.

"Lead singer J’ Something’s vocals have reached new heights on this album. He seems to have matured and grown into his own voice and he is not afraid to use it.

Coupled with the brave new melodies and a more retro-soul smoothness, J is silkier, smoother and more confident than ever before.  This comes across most distinctively on the sexier tracks such as Dream For Love, I Want You, In The Mood and Your Body, says MiCasa's publicist.

Jika, the first single from the album, brings the playful Mi Casa style to life with this sexy dance track that has already spawned a dance style of its own.  The Jika dance has been seen becoming an audience participation favourite and bringing power to live shows.  Mi Casa show a different side to themselves with tracks such as the stunning Portuguese-sung Voce, the Madiba tribute No GreaterLove, showing their appreciation of South Africa’s most iconic figure, Nelson Mandela.

The album boasts heavyweight collaboration such as Feel The Love, with R&B superstar Jimmy Nevis, Africa Shine with Black Coffee and Bora Viver featuring Mishka.  The guys are proud to say they produced the album themselves, with Dr. Duda at the helm of the beats in their own personal studio, where they locked themselves away and let their creative juices mould one of the freshest albums of the year.

“The fans are everything to us and this album was really to invite them into our house – Mi Casa is Su Casa translating to my house is your house.
