Food for thought!

Recorded in Hollywood in 1987 and released through Elektra Records  the self-titled debut received huge critical acclaim for its simplicity, Chapman's vocal ability and the lyrical content that covered many social and political issues.

The album has gone on to sell over 10 million copies worldwide and reached number 1 in the US, Austria, New Zealand, Switzerland, South Africa and the UK. Hit singles included  ‘Fast Car’, ‘Talkin’ Bout A Revolution’ and ‘Baby Can I Hold You’.

Although already selling well, sales of the album shot up into the millions after Chapman’s legendary performances of ‘Fast Car’ And ‘Talkin Bout A Revolution’ at Nelson Mandela’s 70 birthday tribute.
