SOUTH African and Cape Town-born Keagan has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Africa Stargame.

Keagan, a 22-year-old intern manager who has also spent five years in Miami in the United States, was neck-and-neck with Kenya's Prezzo after an eventful 91 days which left Malawi, Uganda, Namibia, Zambia, Kenya and South Africa anxiously waiting to find out who would take home the whopping $300,000 (about R2.5-million).

Interestingly, his bosom pal for 18 years, Lee, had encouraged him to enter the show. Both were seemingly attracted by the money on offer. But sadly, Lee was evicted ages before last night's grand finale.

A total of 38 countries were represented by pairs of celebrities and non-celebs.

In last night's final, Malawi's Wati came out in sixth position, Uganda's Kyle in fifth spot, while Zambia's Talia was evicted from the BBA grand finale and thus took the fourth berth.

Namibia's Lady May came out third. "Thank you Africa for saving me even though some people say being a good girl is boring," May said.
