PASTOR Samuel Madzebe's passion for education is so strong that it has rubbed off on his children, who have all acquired tertiary qualifications.

Madzebe of The Living Gospel World Mission at Dididi in Thohoyandou, Limpopo, is also encouraging local professionals to inspire youths. Recently he invited local graduates to his church to motivate high school pupils and other young people .

He said he sought to reach those who had not been taking their studies seriously.

"We also showed the youths that people who attained degrees did so from various backgrounds and had been motivated by a resolve to succeed, irrespective of the odds they had faced," Madzebe said.

He invited educationist and motivational speaker Tshilidzi Mathabi, who singled out education as an integral component in any person's success.

Mathabi urged the pupils not to rush into marriage but work to get qualifications as [marriage] would always wait for them, as long as they were adequately prepared for it.

"Education will not divorce you, like people do. Follow what the Bible instructs, and fear God, because the beginning of wisdom is to fear God," said Mathabi.

"God will always be there for you.

"Study hard in order to pass with flying colours."
