Kaizer Chiefs look unstoppable at the moment but Polokwane City are confident they'll stop them when they lock horns at Peter Mokaba Stadium tonight.

Chiefs are fourth on the log with 13 points from nine matches while City are a distant 12th with nine points from the same number of matches.

Rise and Shine face an Amakhosi side high in confidence. Chiefs are playing better now and that has been evident in their last few matches, including the 3-0 win over AmaZulu in the last 16 of the Telkom Knockout at the weekend.

You wonder if City - with the worst defence in the league, having conceded - 15 goals - can stop Chiefs.

City defender Ndivhuwo Ravhuhali, however, told Sowetan yesterday that they are up to the challenge.

"I'm expecting a win. Chiefs are doing well, but we are also doing well. We can stop them," Ravhuhali insisted.

"The thing is we've been conceding late goals, but the coaches have been working on that."

Chiefs will look to midfielders Siphiwe Tshabalala and George Maluleka to continue their fine run, but City also have players who can deliver on the day, like striker Rodney Ramagalela, who already has six goals this season.

City coach Bernard Molekwa said his main concern is that they have not won a league match in their backyard this season having lost twice and drawn two matches.

"We haven't lost in the past three games, but what we are looking for is a home win. Maybe it will come against Chiefs," Molekwa added.
