Yeye looking for more glory at SuperSport

Supersport United midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane says he feels he has settled at the Tshwane club and is looking forward to playing a key role in the new season.

"Yeye" has been a part of the Matsatsantsa set-up for over a month after joining as a free agent from Kaizer Chiefs.

"I think things are going well and when it comes to the relationship with the other players it is good. We are getting to know each other better. I'm enjoying myself, definitely.

I have been enjoying myself from day one," said the 34-year-old.

Letsholonyane joined United at the back of great deal of success at Chiefs with whom he won all domestic trophies on offer during his eight-year stay before joining forces with the Tshwane club on a two-year deal.

And despite his achievements, Letsholonyane says he is still hungry for more and he believes that he has joined a team with the potential to win silverware.

"For me, it didn't stop at Chiefs. I'm still hungry to do well and to grow. I want to be a part of a generation that helps this institution put its name up there among other big brands. I believe that we have good players, a team that has won the league a few times in the past years. We will try to do our best for the team," continued the Soweto-born midfielder, who has 54 senior caps to his name.

At United, Letsholonyane has reunited with coach Stuart Baxter. The two worked together at Chiefs and the midfielder is confident of more success with the Briton.

"I know what Stuart wants and he knows what I can do. He had a big impact on my career playing wise and I'm very happy to work with him again," he added.

The three-time league champions will open their 2016/2017 Absa Premiership season against Platinum Stars on August 24 at Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.
