In August (on the weekend of 5 to 7)‚ the SA U17 men’s team host either Tanzania or Seychelles in the second round‚ first leg of their Caf African Youth Championship qualifier. The return leg will be on August 19 to 21.

From August 3 to 20‚ both Banyana and the SA U23 men’s team take part in the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil.

Bafana Bafana will play their final fixture of the Gabon 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Mauritania at home on September 3 at a venue still to be confirmed.

Should the U17 men’s team proceed‚ they play their third round‚ first leg Caf African Youth Championship qualifier on the weekend of September 16 to 18‚ with the return leg pencilled on the weekend of September 30 to October 2.

Bafana will be back in action away to Burkina Faso when they kick off their Fifa World Cup 2018 Russia qualifiers campaign on the weekend of October 7 to 8.

The following month (November 12)‚ the South Africans host Senegal in the same competition.

Banyana close the year with participation in the Caf African Women’s Championship‚ which is hosted by Cameroon between November 19 and December 3.

Bafana’s next assignment in the World Cup 2018 qualifiers will only be in September 2017‚ with back-to-back clashes against Cape Verde Islands.

On October 7‚ Bafana host Burkina Faso‚ while on the weekend of November 10 to 11‚ they will be away to Senegal in the last fixture of the qualifiers.

The draw for Fifa World Cup Russia 2018 final tournament is expected to be held in December 2017.
