Billiat thanks Ndoro for vote of confidence

Zimbabwe international midfielder Khama Billiat says he is grateful to his countryman Tendai Ndoro for his vote of confidence.

Billiat, who plays for Mamelodi Sundowns, expressed his gratitude to the Orlando Pirates striker yesterday. This comes after Ndoro said Billiat deserves this season big PSL award, the Footballer of the Season.

"If the season ends today, I wouldn't hesitate to give him the Footballer of the Year award,” Ndoro was quoted as saying recently.

Billiat, who has scored 10 goals and added 20 assists to his name this season, says this meant a lot to him coming from a player who's been doing well lately.

"I really appreciate hearing my fellow countryman saying that, especially because he's doing well. Normally when players are doing well, they only think of themselves," Billiat responded.

"So to hear him say that humbles me and I really appreciate that," he added.

The former Caps United and Ajax Cape Town man was yesterday named the PSL Player of the Month for March-April.
