Sundowns target five trophies

Mamelodi Sundowns are looking sharp for their Telkom Knockout clash against Chippa United at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday night.

The Liberian born striker Anthony Laffor says at the beginning of the season his side set a target of claiming five trophies.

The Pretorian base side came under fire from their fans earlier on after being kicked out of the MTN8 Cup and a poor start of the league campaign.

"Every player at Sundowns wants to start. I won't say I'm happy starting from the bench. We have watched videos of Chippa United and I think we can beat them," Anthony Laffor said.

"Things were always normal at Mamelodi Sundowns. We need to focus on Chippa United. Every trophy is important.

"At the beginning of the season we set a target of winning five trophies.

"Our recent wins have boosted the team moral and we are all ready to go again," he said.
