Mphela, Masuku join NFD side Royal Eagles

Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Katlego 'Killer' Mphela and ex-Orlando Pirates winger Khethokwakhe Masuku have found new homes at National First Division outfit Royal Eagles.

The two players have signed a one-year contract with the KwaZulu Natal side on Monday respectively, Abbie Rasimphi of Liberate Resources Sports Management confirmed.

Killer parted ways with the Soweto giant two months ago after lack of game time under coach Stuart Baxter who has now been fired from his Turkish club Genclerbirligi after just two games.

Similarly, 29-year-old talented winger Masuku has been on the sideline for most of the 2014/15 campaign at Pirates.

“Khethokwakhe Masuku and Katlego Mphela have joined Royal Eagles FC on a one year deal,” said Rasimphi.
