We still have a lot of work to put: Komphela

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Steve Komphela says his side still have a lot of work to do after losing to arch rivals Orlando Pirates on penalty shoot out on Saturday's Carling Black Label Cup at FNB Stadium.

Komphela got his first taste of Soweto derby action as Amakhosi coach but he did not get the desired result.

Despite losing the game, Komphela's charges gave a good fight against a Pirates side that had played more competitive football.

"We still have a lot of work to put in the team. In terms of these matches losing on penalties, I can't see any fault from my players," Komphela said on Chiefs website.

"Mathoho is out of the injury list, just left with match fitness. Baloyi is still out, as is Cardoso. Morgan is making progress, while Mtsweni has done surgery on his foot."
