Johnson back at Platinum Stars

Struggling Platinum Stars have re-united with their former manager Cavin Johnson as their new coach to replace Allan Freese on Tuesday.

The Rustenburg side unveiled the 56-year-old at a press conference at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace. Johnson guided Dikwena to a second-placed finish in 2012/13 with Freese as his assistant, according to TimeLIVE.

“It was a unanimous decision as we all know how talented Johnson is”, Stars chairman Cliff Ramoroa said.

“We welcome him to the family again and we have faith and believe in him that he will take us to heights of success.

"The Players, Technical and Support Stuff at the team welcomes Johnson with open arms and looks forward to a great future with successful memories.”
