Chipa United return to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium tonight as they seek a first victory since late November as the pressure begins to mount on new coach Ernst Middendorp, even though he has only had two months on the job.

But the wily German will be relishing planning for a match against a one-dimensional Polokwane City, who were the surprise package of the season but are starting to be easily countered by other PSL clubs as they continue to insist on playing an all-out attacking game.

Middendorp is delighted to be playing at the bigger venue where Chippa can use the space to get behind Polokwane and take advantage of their weakness in defence. Chippa play a first official game at their preferred venue this year.

"I must give a huge compliment to my players for the way they played against Ajax. We had good movement forward and one or two real chances, and it is a well-known fact that this club has had problems at the back, but we kept the structure well," Middendorp added.

For City's coach Kosta Papic, the focus of the last days has been working on finishing after several missed chances against Pirates last weekend.
