Ajax coach Roger de Sa says he has both positives and negatives to ponder ahead of their clash against Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday.

This after De Sa's side snapped a seven-game winning streak in the league with a 2-0 win over Chippa United at Cape Town Stadium at the weekend that has given him cause for both optimism and concern before the Chiefs' clash at FNB Stadium.

"The positives were to see Dominic Isaacs back on the park after his injuries. He played 10 to 15 minutes and it was important to see him back in action," De Sa said..

"I was also very pleased with new guys Tariq Losper and Erwin Isaacs. Losper, back from a six-month loan at Bidvest Wits, was man of the match with his work rate and the tackles he won. Isaacs [on loan from Wits] scored an unbelievable goal and got a second full 90 minutes under his belt. It will give him confidence. I'm very happy for him, this is where he wants to be."

Isaacs arrived during the January transfer window.

But it was not all roses, asserted De Sa. "There were a lot more negatives that we have to work out.

"We've got to keep the ball longer. We were too slow. We didn't play as fluid as would have liked. There is work to be done before the Chiefs match," he insisted.
