Ayanda Gcaba could have been speaking on behalf of the entire Orlando Pirates back four when he admitted to imminent sleepless nights at the mention of Kingston Nkhatha and Jeremy Brockie.

These are deadly SuperSport United strikers set to face the Buccaneers in the Nedbank Cup last 16 next month.

To unsettle Gcaba further, United skipper Clayton Daniels explained why he thought Nkhatha and Brockie, who were brought in during the January transfer window as reinforcements upfront, were the most lethal attacking partnership in the Premier Soccer League right now.

Nkhatha made a shock move from log leaders Kaizer Chiefs, while Brockie made the switch from New Zealand's Wellington Phoenix.

Their pairing has seen them score three goals each in the same number of games, and Gcaba said Pirates were well aware of this impressive run of form.

"But they've got their weak points. I will admit that as a defender I will have trouble sleeping when I think about facing them," said Gcaba.

Daniels, who comes up against Nkhatha and Brockie at training, said he was thrilled to see the two forwards adjust to their new surroundings like fish to water.

The date and venue of the fixture are yet to be announced by the Premier Soccer League.
