Amazulu player Carlington Nyadombo suspended

Football club Amazulu have placed Zimbabwean defender Carlington Nyadombo on suspension amid allegations of the player 'using muti against the club'

The club’s decision comes after angry supporters tried to physically remove Nyadombo from the training grounds, accusing him of working with the club's enemies to use muthi, which the fans claim is the reason Usuthu find themselves at the bottom of the Absa Premiership.

“The decision that has been taken by the club is that we have suspended Carlington Nyadombo indefinitely. That’s all I can at this stage,” AmaZulu coach Steve Barker told Kickoff.com.

Nyadombo’s agent, Mike Mabaab of ProSport International, expressed great disappointment at the entire situation.

“I'm saddened by how the media has taken it and made it like this boy is doing things against the club, which is absolutely nonsense,” he told KickOff.com.

"Unless someone can come to the fore and give proof of what has been said than I must wonder where this come from."
