Furman scores as Rovers win

BAFANA Bafana skipper Dean Furman netted his first goal of the season to help English League One side Doncaster Rovers to a 3-0 win over bottom side Yeovil Town.

Furman got his side's second goal in the win that leaves them just a point off the promotion play-off places with a game in hand.

The midfielder had also starred for his side in a 5-0 win at Crawley Town a week ago.

Kgosi Ntlhe came on at half-time for Peterborough United as they won 2-1 at home to Rochdale. United scored two goals in the opening seven minutes.

English Championship leaders Bournemouth were without Bafana striker Tokelo Rantie for the second game running as he was sidelined with a shoulder injury as they played to a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town.

Andile Jali lasted just the first half of KV Oostende's 1-0 win at Mouscron-Péruwelz before he was replaced.

There was no score at that stage, but former Kaizer Chiefs forward Knowledge Musona came off the bench to set up a winner for Elimane Coulibaly five minutes from time.

Darren Keet has been unable to win his place back in the Kortrijk side since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations finals, having been replaced by 22-year-old Belgian Laurent Henkinet.

The Bafana stopper again had to settle for a place on the bench as his side slipped to a disappointing 1-0 loss at struggling Waasland-Beveren that likely puts an end to their faint championship hopes this season.

Anele Ngcongca has easily slipped back into the swing of things in Belgium after his time in Equatorial Guinea and played for Genk as they won 2-1 at Westerlo to consolidate their position in the top six.
