PLATINUM Stars coach Allan Freese is tired of taking all the blame for Dikwena's poor form in the league.

Freese questioned the commitment of his players after they lost 2-0 to 10-man Orlando Pirates at Royal Bafokeng Stadium, their eighth defeat of the season.

Dikwena only had two attempts at goal after Bucs' Lehlohonolo Majoro was sent off on the hour mark for blatantly stamping winger Mahlatse Makudubela, leaving Freese frustrated as Stars dropped points at home again this year after the 1-1 draw with Mpumalanga Black Aces last Wednesday. Stars look disjointed and desperately vulnerable psychologically.

"Are we serious about getting out of relegation? I don't know. It looks like the pressure is only on the coach," Freese said on Saturday. "Do you think they [the players] will take some of the flak? No, I don't think so. For them it's okay.

"I am disappointed we did not get a result at home. On Wednesday we let it slip against Aces after we were leading 1-0. We need to fix things and do it as a team."

Dikwena need to improve both their attack and defence. They have scored 17 goals while they have conceded 25.
