SHAKES Mashaba could lose Tokelo Rantie for the 2015 African Nations Cup finals in Equatorial Guinea after the striker dislocated his shoulder on Saturday.

Rantie was injured playing for Bournemouth in their English Championship clash with Ipswich Town. His manager Eddie Howe admitted he will be missing for some time.

"I know that it's a shoulder injury. It looks like he might have dislocated his shoulder but we will wait and see what the diagnosis is," Howe told his club's website.

With the Nations Cup under two months away, Rantie would have to be considered a major doubt given he would also need game-time in the build-up to the tournament to prove his form and fitness.

Also in England, Steven Pienaar and Kagisho Dikgacoi did not feature for Everton and Cardiff City respectively through injury, but Kgosi Ntlhe did play for Peterborough United in their 2-1 home loss to Swindon Town.

Thulani Serero was back in the Ajax Amsterdam starting line-up for their 4-1 win over Heerenveen.

Ayanda Patosi lasted an hour for Belgian side Lokeren before he was substituted in the 0-0 home draw with Westerlo.
