Cut errors, Rosslee warns side

AMAZULU coach Craig Rosslee expressed his disappointment after his side's midweek defeat to Bloemfontein Celtic, and he will need to come up with a strategic move to overcome Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.

They visit the equally limping Sundowns side at Loftus in Pretoria. Kick off is at 3pm.

The Brazilians will be hoping to save face following a comprehensive 3-0 drubbing by Orlando Pirates at the same venue on Wednesday night.

Usuthu now find themselves at the foot of the Absa Premiership table with two points from a possible 12. The reigning Premier Soccer League champions, on the other hand, are 12th on the standings with four points from four matches.

Rosslee attributed their defeat to Phunya SeleSele to a lapse in concentration at the back.

"We started very well [against Celtic], exactly the way we set up store and obviously we all saw it, it was a terrible mistake at the back [that led to Celtic's opener]," Rosslee told the club's website.

"We knew they were going to put us under pressure like that and it just went from one mistake to the other and that was it. It's a question of us putting ourselves under unnecessary pressure, but we also [had] our chance to come back."

Rosslee has urged his side to avoid making costly errors at the back and to make the best of their opportunities in order to turn things around in the coming games.
