ORLANDO Pirates are excited about the return of dribbling wizard Oupa Manyisa for their last official home game of the season against Platinum Stars on Saturday (3pm).

The influential Manyisa is back from suspension and should be in the starting lineup in this match taking place at Orlando Stadium.

Also expected to return is vice-captain and defender Happy Jele, who has recovered from a hamstring injury but will first have to undergo a fitness test today. "This is our last game at home this season, so we want to end the season on a high note by beating Stars again," said Pirates communications manager Mickey Modisane.

Pirates walloped Dikwena 3-0 in their first-round match in Phokeng in December. It will be the third meeting between the two clubs this season. The North West side, who boast former Pirates players like Patrick Malokase, Benson Mhlongo and Siphelele Mthembu, won the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout finals, beating Pirates in the final on each occasion.

"We need a win to ensure that there are no challenges for us when it comes to qualifying for the MTN8 at the end of the season," continued Modisane.

"The big challenge for us this season is our failure to score goals. That's something the technical staff are focusing on; they are perfecting it so that we convert our chances to win all our remaining games.

"We also have the Nedbank Cup coming, which we want to win to end the season with a bang. We owe it to our supporters, who are used to winning trophies."

Pirates go into this game fresh from a 1-0 defeat to Bloemfontein Celtic on Monday, which saw the Free State side complete the double over Bucs this season.

The Allan Freese-guided Platinum Stars were handed a 4-1 drubbing by bottom side Golden Arrows at home last weekend.

Meanwhile, Moroka Swallows supporters in White City will celebrate Freedom Day by launching a branch at Mavis hall between 10am and 3pm.
