Leopards see weekend loss as minor blip

BLACK Leopards remain confident of getting a second-place finish to feature in the National First Division promotion play-offs.

This is the view of senior player Edgar Manaka despite their 1-0 defeat to United FC in Giyani at the weekend.

Manakasaidtheir dream of promotion lives on.

"It's not a good feeling to lose but we are not throwing in the towel. The race for the play-offs is still very much on," he said.

"The defeat was a wake-up call that we need to treat all the games equally. We are approaching the end of the season and need to be more consistent.

"At the beginning of the season, we made a commitment to our supporters and people of Limpopo that we will be back in the PSL in June.

"We want to finish second on the log even if we know the third spot is good enough to qualify for the play-offs."
