BONES could crack if Johnny "The Hurricane" Muller and Vhonani "The Terminator" Netshidamboni transfer their heated barbs into physical action.

The bone of contention between the two is that both boxers believe they are superior.

But records suggests that Muller is head and shoulders above all local boxers in the light-heavyweight division.

The gutsy 22-year-old fighter from Roodepoort is the SA champion.

The right-hander will put the national title on the line for the first time against Netshidamboni since winning it from Tshepang Mohale on August 31.

Muller and Netshidamboni will meet at Emperors Palace next Tuesday night.

Netshidamboni, 21, was the first to throw verbal jabs at Muller.

"I have seen Johnny once in action and I don't care how he fights because I will beat him up," warned the superbly built boxer, who last fought on June 29 when he outclassed Simon Mokoena over six rounds.

Muller fired back at Netshidamboni yesterday.

"He needs all the luck in the world to go three rounds with me," said Muller, who boasts 11 short-route wins from 14 victories, with three defeats and two draws.

"He predicted he'll stop me but my advice will be that he needs a lot more than predictions. He can say whatever he likes but the talking will be done inside the ring. I can tell you now that this guy will not handle me."

The fight will form part of a five-bout bill, a box-and-dine tournament to be staged jointly by African Ring and Golden Gloves.
