ORLANDO Pirates are not under pressure to finish on top of Group A in the African Champions League despite being tied on points with seven-time champions Al Ahly.

The Buccaneers were also quick to point out that there was no need to panic after the weekend defeat at Zamalek in Egypt.

Pirates and Egyptian giants Al Ahly have collected seven points apiece from four matches.

Speaking on their arrival from Egypt yesterday, captain Lucky Lekgwathi said they will pocket all six points in their remaining two games. Pirates will be in Congo-Brazzaville on September 14 for a date with AC Leopards and complete the group stages with a home match against Al Ahly.

"There is no need to panic after the defeat by Zamalek because we will bounce back. We are still in complete control of our group as log leaders," said Lekgwathi.

"We have enough time to prepare for Leopards as there will be no PSL games to play because of the 2014 World Cup break. We will definitely win the two games against Leopards and Al Ahly to qualify for the semifinals, which is our objective."

Coach Roger de Sa added: "Nothing is lost in the campaign, we still remain positive of qualifying for the semifinals. We played against a very tough team but we will get back to our winning ways against Leopards."
