Aces' Sakala warns Warriors

MPUMALANGA Black Aces coach Jacob "Cellular" Sakala is confident his charges will prevail over Africa Warriors, whom they host in a National First Division match at Themba Senamela Stadium in Middelburg on Sunday.

Kickoff is at 3.30pm. The match is bound to be an enthralling affair after both sides pulled off good performances in their opening matches.

AmaZayoni pipped relegated Santos 1-0, while Warriors saw off Sivutsa Stars 3-2.

"The boys played very well against Santos and I don't have any doubt that they will deliver again this weekend," said Sakala, the nomadic Zambian, yesterday.

But he warned his charges not to get overexcited about their success over the People's Team going into Sunday's clash with a tricky Warriors side.

Warriors' boss Jabu "Little Corporal" Khumalo said they were equally ready for the match.

"The players are in high spirits after our win over Sivutsa Stars and they are looking froward to another good display on Sunday," he said.

Elsewhere, Jomo Cosmos will be hoping to taste their first victory in the NFD this season when they host Milano United at Johannesburg Stadium tomorrow (3.30pm kickoff).

Ezenkosi played to a 2-all draw against Witbank Spurs in their opening match.
