Chiefs have another go at Leopards
FANS who were at the washed-out match between Kaizer Chiefs and Black Leopards and are still in possession of their ticket stubs do not have to panic.
They can watch the replay of the Absa Premiership fixture at Soccer City tomorrow night without having to fork out another cent. Kickoff is at 7.30pm.
PSL media officer Koketso Gaofetoge said: "They will be allowed to use the same ticket, but those who do not have tickets must buy them at Computicket and Shoprite stores."
Chiefs were leading 2-0 through goals from Bernard Parker and Kingston Nkhatha when a fierce hailstorm ended proceedings.
General manager Bobby Motaung said Chiefs would hammer Leopards this time around.
"We owe those guys big time; they embarrassed us 1-0 in the second round league match prior to their departure to DR Congo last season," he said. "We are in a mean mood; the days of sharing points are over. New coach Stuart Baxter is here to win the league for us."
But Leopards boss David Thidiela said: "We have rectified the mistakes that resulted in us being 2-0 down before the match was abandoned. We are from the only province in the world where a leader (Rain Queen Modjadji) has the power to make it rain, (as it happened when) we were in trouble on Saturday," he joked.
If the match is abandoned through inclement weather, all records of the postponed match will be expunged, apart from cautions and dismissals.

I remember that game at Soccercity. That is when missiles were thrown at VV's bench by the angry chimps including calls for Bobsteak to leave his position as team manager. The whole thing never made caused a media frenzy as the focus was on the DTCs!

If you were a Kaizer Chiefs player, how would you feel about having to play Leopards again? It's going to be difficult to get motivated for the match
Hail or shine, this time Amakhosi will make it an even bigger goal margin
