The fans' behaviour was unwarranted and uncalled for - in fact it was unbecoming. It put OP, PSL, SAFA and the whole fraternity into disrepute.
Notwithstanding the bad behaviour of fans, the refree was not blameless in the whole saga. He lacked objectivity at times and seemed biased. Kwenaldino and Profesori did injustice to the Benni and Franli fracas. I watched the game on SABC1: I saw referee rightfull giving yellow card to both. Then Benni walked away but Franklin walked up to him. Benni held him close to him as if trying to appease or soften him or something. Afterwards Franlikn disappeaerd from the screen action. The referee appeared on the radar seemingly irated and then dished another yellow card to Benni converting him to red.
