I didnt want to comment today,but when you posted that 1996 Squad...aish broer,you bring good memories.....Clive had a very formadible squad....that engine room and the back four were tightly packed...solid and very strong...

-Buthelezi,as a destroyer,was doing a dirty work.
-Tinkler,a defender,but could go in midfield,to assist Buthelezi,he was not a good passer of the ball,but Clive called dungi to be close to him..
-Moeti, a great midfielder,will collect that dirty work by Buthelezi, and give Doctor a latitude
-Radebe,was there as a central defender,esp for aerial balls and set pieces,he could also assistin the middle when Dungi is on the attack.
-Tovey,as a sweeper,had to clean every lose balls from Sizwe,or Nyathi.This Tovey,was a player who knew how to conceal his injury,he can play with that injury...
-Doctor,as a ball player had to supply Masinga,or Williams...now this where Clive gambled,applied a wrong tactics,by playing Moshoeu and Doctor,but he had a plan B,if you look at that squad to cover Doctor and Shoes...!

Yes Shoes and Lucas were playing in Europe already but still if you count there will always be more Chiefs players than Rats. You can count my friend yourself. In 1998 Jomo tried to rectify that but we all know what happened in 1998 Nations cup, our cup was gone because of Jomo triying to prove a point ha ha ha.

For Rats players it is an honour just to be called in BB otherwise they know they wont start.

The problem with you my Rats is that you have a short memory. I have asked you whose place was taken by Helman because Barker in miedfield had Linda, Tinkler, Shoes and 16V consistently in that team even for the qualifiers of world cup. Helman and Moeti would get a run in friendlies and when the regulars are injured.

Everything should be written down for these Rats for them to remember. I know 3 years to come you will deny that Itu, Shabba and Yeye startted in the historic opening of 2010 world cup game with one Rat on the starting 11 Thwala who was skinned alive by those young Mexicans so much that to avoid futher embarassment he did'nt come back for the second half.
