Schillo favours Everton unless Moyes joins Spurs
BAFANA Bafana skipper Steven Pienaar is on holiday in Barbados as he mulls over his club future, which will be decided in the coming weeks.
Pienaar is waiting to find out who will be the next Tottenham Hotspur manager, following the exit of Harry Redknapp, before he makes a decision on where his future lies, saying, "I need to know if I'll still be used by Spurs".
Although he was unhappy at the prospect of returning to the North London club, the exit of Harry Redknapp, who rated Pienaar low on his list of attacking midfielders, has perhaps given him the opportunity to play more.
But he is also very much open to a move back to Everton for a fourth spell at the club, though that also depends on whether the Toffees manager, David Moyes, is offered the vacant Spurs position.
Pienaar has already come out and stated what a great appointment Moyes would be for Spurs, and his arrival at White Hart Lane would certainly be a boost for "Schillo".
Everton have gone quiet on their plans to bring the South African on board for next season in a permanent deal, waiting for Moyes to return to work today and most likely until the managerial position is sorted out once and for all.
Should Moyes stay at Everton as expected, Pienaar will be his number one target, though he will have to sell other players to raise funds for the move.
One of those is likely to be Nigerian defender Joseph Yobo, who should make a loan move to Turkish side Fenerbahce permanent this week.
Further complicating matters is the fact that Pienaar will have to return to South Africa for a July 4 court case in which he is accused of assaulting Thabang Mnisi, 22, the son of Public Service deputy minister Ayanda Dlodlo.
