CAPTION: Stolen: Nadal's jewel-encrusted watch

A hotel worker has been arrested for allegedly stealing a £250,000 watch from Spanish tennis superstar Rafael Nadal.

The light-fingered employee reportedly snatched the lavish timepiece from Nadal's suite at a five-star luxury Paris hotel, the Daily Mail reports.

The sportsman said he put the watch by his bedside the evening after winning his 7th French open title on Monday.

But when he woke on Tuesday morning, the jewel-encrusted gadget lent to him for the tournament by watchmakers Richard Mille had vanished.

Police were initially baffled by the crime because the hotel suite showed no signs of forced entry, and only Nadal's parents and girlfriend had access.

But then they spotted that the room had been entered by a hotel worker using his magnetic key card.

Police said they arrested a 38-year-old man at his house in the southern Paris suburb of Corbeil-Essones.

He confessed to the theft and led officers to a spot in undergrowth near his home where he had hidden the watch.

A police spokesman said: 'The man has made a full confession and been charged with theft. He will appear in court at a later date'.

When people get necklaced for stealing, raping etc, guys say it serves them right.
So what is wrong with this bloke getting arrested for stealing Rafa's (mind you it is not even his!) watch?
Even if he is rich, it blood and sweat money, not some cheap tender from who who in what what municipality.

Hey you mokankanyaneM, People are starving, think about it what can you do if have 3million now, it mean that you are rich and you can try some lavish lifestyle but you talk rubbish remember these people is us who go to staduims and wacth them, and of course what was he thinking to buy such an expensive wacth whilst he can pay more than thirty employees ?

i realy dont understand you guys, what the hotel stuff did was wrong dont try to justify it becouse the watch was worth 30mill i mean everyone one who is talking about charity what have you donated wena becouse charity is not about how much you have but what you can do to help the needy!!!!!!!!
