Yes, he failed at national team level, but if you saw, at club level he has won a league or a trophy with all the clubs he has coached. Rather look at the selection criteria used to recruit this coach.. Baxter was jobless and sitting on his @rse in London since 2010.. Bobby and family realised this, flew over and approached him.. There was no mention of his CV or any other well respected coach's CV on Kaizer's desk. Instead, a cheaper option was the way to go.. This rises eyebrows in the manner that the Motaung family runs their business.. Cheap coach with a mediocre record, coaching mediocre players with no achievements.. At the end of the day, it's a family business & revenue should be protected regardless of who says what..

Maybe they need to get him a great assistant who can do better with young players in FAROOK KHAN, this will help the new coach...i guess KAIZER is not really worried about winning any titles soon since he said the coach will be good in mentoring others coaches and the development structures which i think it's BAXTER's speciality(coachig intructors) so getting the development structures up and running again is what they are more concerned with...he failed to answer when he was asked if it would be acceptable for BAXTER the lose and get relegated as long as he gets the development right....
once again i say good luck toour new coach, i will have to wait and see what u can do with my team.
Rather look at the selection criteria used to recruit this coach.. Baxter was jobless and sitting on his @rse in London since 2010.. Bobby and family realised this, flew over and approached him.. There was no mention of his CV or any other well respected coach's CV on Kaizer's desk. Instead, a cheaper option was the way to go.. This rises eyebrows in the manner that the Motaung family runs their business.. Cheap coach with a mediocre record, coaching mediocre players with no achievements.. At the end of the day, it's a family business & revenue should be protected regardless of who says what..

That's exactly my point I'm trying to direct.. Stuart Baxter is a "keep your finger's crossed" type coach.. The good thing about this is that he failed at a National level where you have a larger pool of players to choose from.. He failed to take SA to the 2006 World Cup and failed at the AFCON that same year.. I'm not going to go into the nitty-gritties of his national team's past, but the fact is.. There is no achievements to write home about when it comes to his credentials.. He's good at development levels (eg England U/19)..

This rises eyebrows in the manner that the Motaung family runs their business.. Cheap coach with a mediocre record, coaching mediocre players with no achievements.. At the end of the day, it's a family business & revenue should be protected regardless of who says what..

Maybe they need to get him a great assistant who can do better with young players in FAROOK KHAN, this will help the new coach...i guess KAIZER is not really worried about winning any titles soon since he said the coach will be good in mentoring others coaches and the development structures which i think it's BAXTER's speciality(coachig intructors) so getting the development structures up and running again is what they are more concerned with...he failed to answer when he was asked if it would be acceptable for BAXTER the lose and get relegated as long as he gets the development right....
once again i say good luck toour new coach, i will have to wait and see what u can do with my team.

@ sexyghostThat's exactly my point I'm trying to direct.. Stuart Baxter is a "keep your finger's crossed" type coach.. The good thing about this is that he failed at a National level where you have a larger pool of players to choose from.. He failed to take SA to the 2006 World Cup and failed at the AFCON that same year.. I'm not going to go into the nitty-gritties of his national team's past, but the fact is.. There is no achievements to write home about when it comes to his credentials.. He's good at development levels (eg England U/19)..
