Mayweather dominated late, rocking Cotto in the 12th round to pull out a win and remain unbeaten in 43 fights. But it wasn't easy, with Mayweather getting his nose bloodied and Cotto fighting until the final bell.

Two judges scored the fight 117-111 and the third had it 118-110. The Associated Press had Mayweather winning 116-112.

"You're a hell of a champion," Mayweather told Cotto in the ring afterward. "You're the toughest guy I ever fought."

Cotto never stopped moving forward but Mayweather was faster and more accurate, and seemed to wear him down in the final rounds.

In the last round, Mayweather landed his best punch of the night, a left uppercut that seemed to hurt Cotto.

He followed that with several flurries to the head to wrap up a decision that until the later rounds had been in doubt.

The fight was Mayweather's last before he enters jail to serve a three-month sentence for domestic abuse.

Pacquiao may be a a very talented boxer and a worthy champion, but many were prior to meeting 'Money" and the rest is now history. Money is a genius in the ring; as the commntators said on Sunday morning (South african time) there is none better than Money Mayweather and that includes Pac. We will patiently wait in th hope that one day, this fight will materialise.

If you watched Money's fight against Cotto, then it bcums very clear that this man is in a world of his own. Other boxers may be " talented" but he's "God gifted." His ability to defend himself with his shoulders when under attack maks him a master of the sport. There's no way PacMan will beat this guy! Im not a fan of Money but good lord, he does what he does better than anyone I have ever seen

i speak from personal experience

at provincial level Department of SPORTS, Arts and Culture is abbreviated as DSAC

that is where i saw no activity and no budget

when i was asked to do a thing or two for them

i tell you everyone was crying!!!

i can see the guy who spoke for boxing codes in my mind- very sad listening.
