LOVED: Elias Majoro Shakoane

Elias Majoro Shakoane, 55, died last week in hospital after what the family described as "heart complications".

Said Alex: "He suffered a mild stroke and was taken to Mamelodi Day Hospital. When he arrived there, his situation deteriorated and the family was informed that there were problems with his heart. We however remained hopeful that he would pull through, that is why his death was such a shock to us," said an emotional Shakoane. He said his brother, whom he described as "very humble and sweet", would be greatly missed.

"He was business-minded and owned a car wash. He will be missed by everyone in the community because he got on well with everyone."

The funeral will take place in Mamelodi East tomorrow . The service will take place at house No 22023, Ikageng Section, Mamelodi East, opposite Vista University at 8am and the cortege will leave for Eesterus Cemetery at 10am. Shakoane leaves behind four brothers, a sister and three children.
